Cozy studio - 2P - Sorbonne-Latin Quarter

😊: Nothing, very poor.. 😢: I was there for 7 nights as a last minute booking, during Paris heatwave, & following an unacceptably late booking.com cancellation of my original booking. This was the only alternative booking.com property available in area at last minute, albeit property location was not where I wanted to be. Sure the room had no air conditioning, but the room was outrageously hot all week, day & night, with no air. There was 1 fan that didn't even move the hot air around, so useless. Therefore room was uninhabitable, unbearable & impossible to sleep in. It ruined my Paris holiday, as it was hot outside & hotter inside 24x7. Host finally supplied a 2nd fan, but only after I complained, offering no other solutions to heat problem. 2nd fan also made no difference. Television didn't work the whole week - I advised host but they did nothing about it. There was only 1 window, which opens direct onto street so I had to leave shutters closed & effectively couldn't open windows. Result was dark room with poor lighting, & just hot air in room with no breeze. I basically sweated the whole time I was in room, & had to take temporary cold showers to try & stay cool. Also too much unnecessary furniture in room - too cluttered. I recommend not booking this room, & especially not in summer. A bad experience in all respects. I will never book this property again..

😢: Might be important for business travellers: although requested and confirmed at the beginning of the stay the hotel refused to split the invoice between two business addresses. Never experienced something like that before..

😊: We like the location of the property. The property, the property had everything you needed if you wanted to cook but we didn’t.. 😢: The property is small, and if u want to leave your luggage its 30 mins away.

😢: There was (i) substantial mold around the window, (ii) uninsulated electric installations in the bathroom, (iii) no air condition, (iv) a pub next door which was extremely loud until after midnight, (v) trash cans in front of the door which had to moved to enter the room, and (vi) no ventilation in the bathroom and and thus a terrible smell. The worst accommodation I have ever stayed in..
