😊: The apartment itself was reasonably clean and matched the photos in terms of layout and furniture. The windows closed properly and provided good enough insulation.. 😢: I honestly don’t know who took the photos for this listing, but they deserve a medal. They managed to capture only the very best angles and completely hide the overall reality. The disappointment started the moment I arrived. The entrance to the building was so neglected that I genuinely thought I had the wrong address. Walking into the stairwell only made things worse. It looked as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained for years. My first instinct was to cancel the reservation and leave immediately, but since the booking was non-refundable, I had no real choice but to stay. The apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. Carrying luggage up four floors of very narrow stairs was exhausting. Inside the apartment, the details that matter most were very different from what the photos suggest. There were visible signs of wear around the corners, window frames and bathroom joints. The outside window sills (between the windows and the exterior blinds) were quite dirty, apparently a place where pigeons regularly shelter. I also noticed a few small silverfish in the bathroom, which wasn’t particularly surprising given the humidity. The biggest disappointment came after my stay. After completing the self-checkout, I requested an invoice. More than two weeks later, at the time of writing this review, I still haven’t received the invoice or any response from the host, despite requesting it several times..
