Domaine de Cazaban

It was a disappointing stay for several reasons: Dirty cutlery and crockery upon arrival. No chopping board until we asked for one. No pans/trays for use in the oven. Very dirty sun loungers and outdoor chairs which were clearly not cleaned before our arrival and looked like they hadn’t been used for a long time. No BBQ which upon querying was because insurance does not cover a BBQ even though this is promised in property description. The person who we were in contact with throughout our stay said she was not responsible for managing the property and seemed frustrated that she was dealing with our queries. But the worst part of our stay was Thursday and Friday evening. We heard nothing about the events hosted at the venue until arrival when we were told there was a DJ Thursday evening and a Latin dance evening on Friday evening. We assumed that these would both be finished at a reasonable time in the evening. But both events went on well past 1am with incredibly loud music. To make matters worse the speakers were moved between the Thursday to Friday event so that they were immediately the other side of our bedroom wall. The bass was shaking the entire room. This ruined our holiday as we were unable to get to sleep until after the music ended. We would never recommend staying here because you’re lied to from the property description, you get no sleep Thurs/Fri and the managing of the property is an after thought

Le vignoble est splendide et le vin donne envie de séjourner plus longtemps. Franchement très bel endroit à revisiter.

Fantastisch<br>#128578; Zeer ruim, luxueus en modern ingericht appartement met prachtige uitzichten! Vanuit de keuken en het ruime overdekte balkon, waar overigens een mooie gasbarbecue staat. Het zwembad gedeelte bood de gehele week veel vermaak en ontspanning, met ook een kleine jeu de boule baan en een mooie pingpongtafel. Tevens een gemeenschappelijke keuken bij het zwembad met eettafel en grote plancha (voor ca. 6 app goed te doen) De host Sylvie was erg aangenaam in de omgang en in de communicatie. Bovendien ...<br>#128577; Je hebt een auto nodig, omdat er geen leuk plaatsje op loopafstand is. In de zomer kan het in dit gebied heel warm en droog zijn.

The apartment is gorgeous, and the property is very beautiful, the perfect spot if you want to get away from things and have a nice relaxing holiday. Close enough to the lovely restaurants and bars in Carcasonne. Sylvie was very helpful at every stage of our booking, and with our poor French skills it was great that her English was so good
