Fabulous Villa With Use of Private Heated Pool South Of Carcassonne

We had two wonderful weeks. We enjoyed the beautiful green surroundings, the comfortable house and the large swimming pool. Because it was less hot than usual, there was plenty of time for cycling, walking and visiting the local market in Mirepoix. Kim and Duncan are very hospitable, as is Buddy the dog. In addition to a pleasant chat, they are happy to tell you all about the area and have plenty of tips and tricks.For anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Kim and Duncan are friendly and welcoming hosts. Always responsive to anything we needed. The house is mostly on one level with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and furniture. The houses was peaceful and surrounded by nature. It was also an ideal location for the Cathar castles we were visiting. The pool was warm and very nice to use. It is well looked after. Thanks again

Fab 10 days holiday in beautiful villa in Puivert. Kim and Duncan (villa owners) were very easy to deal with and helped with places to go/ restaurants in the local area etc. Villa was perfect and shared pool very inviting. Would have no reservations in recommending this villa’

Kim and Duncan are fantastic hosts, checked us in with plenty of info about the property, and available for help and advise during our stay but also leaving us the space to enjoy our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the farmhouse. The family loved the beautiful pool which had the bonus of being Salt water. The house had everything we needed for a family of 6. The only negative was that one of the bedrooms did not have a window, luckily my son and his wife did not mind. It was rather more isolated than the photos suggested but we had a very relaxing time.

Kim and Duncan are wonderful hosts and we were very fortunate to stay in their beautiful home. Everything is as listed and we wanted for nothing. A wonderful location , walking distance to a lovely swimming lake. Local restaurants, bar, a night market by the lake and White water rafting. Thank you so much.. Simon& Ali

We were a family of 7 and all fell in love with this house. Kim and Duncan were absolutely lovely, giving good advice and left us many extras which were much appreciated. The Hameau De Mouche is quite isolated, perfect for a good relaxing break. We were there for the UK Spring Bank Holiday week which found some places including restaurants still closed. The pool area, table tennis room both excellent as is the BBQ area which we found most useful even when wet. Restricted WiFi is a disappointment to modern families. Ella the dog was a delightful companion for the week whilst we were outside.
