Family house in the heart of black Périgord

Overall this is a nice property, but dont be taken in by the photos, the garden is smaller than it appears on the photos, basically a small strip of lawn around the pool, and the pool/garden furniture is woefully inadequate for a property that sleeps 12. There were 6 deck chairs and no sunbeds. When we complained the owner said the sunbeds had been broken, but didn't offer to provide more. Pool towels were not provided, just 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person. Pool was cleaned and filled up a couple of times per week, however whilst filling up it drained water pressure upstairs, so unable to use showers for a few hours. All that said the host responded quickly yo any issues, even though he was on holiday himself. During our stay there was a power cut in the village and he couldnt have been more helpful in helping us check that it wasn't just an issue with the house, and inchasing up EDF for updates on reinstating service.

Gite très agréable. La cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée (la double nespresso est très pratique lorsqu'on est nombreux). La salle à manger permet de déjauner sans problème à 10 personnes et il y a un très vaste séjour attenant pour les jours de pluie ou pour le soir. La terrasse est très agréable. Les chambres sont grandes et la literie est bonne.

An amazing stay perfect for our 2 family’s made up of 6 adults and 4 children. The house was clean and perfect The pool was cleaned regularly and needed to be due to the location and the weather We did have to rescue and remove few mice frogs and larger bugs But kids loved the daily pool check. The house had all the amenities we needed Would recommend the owner puts together a welcome pack in English of how everything worked and local things to do. The night market at belves was great but if wanted a drink the walk Up there was a killer up The hill Great 2 weeks loved it

Une petite remarque le matériel de cuisson et les plats de service sont à peine suffisants. Tout nous a donné entièrement satisfaction.

La maison est vraiment très bien restaurée et l'intérieur est parfait pour un séjour en famille ou avec des amis. Les espaces sont grands et la propreté au rendez vous. Accueil très agréable. Nous recommandons sans hésitation dans cette région très belle a découvrir. A bientôt

une super localisation à côté d'un village médiéval, des sentiers de randonnée à 100m (PR et GR), ainsi qu'un très bon restaurant. Ce fut un excellent point de base pour profiter de tous les charmes de la région. Nous avons aussi grandement profité de la piscine. L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent et très sympathique. C'est avec grand plaisir que nous y retournerions. Olivier

Maison agréable et bien équipée. Isolation phonique pas optimale car planchers bois, mais pas de bruits depuis le salon ou l'extérieur.
