Gites de charme en Périgord de 8 à 23 personnes

We were a family and friends group of 18 - from 4 yrs old to early 70s. The location is brilliant - private but with good road, rail and air access and wonderful locations to explore- the markets at Salat, the evening food at Belves, the amazing chateaux and forts, the Lascau cave painting experience. The cave dwellings in Belves and the canoeing at Sioraic. We enjoyed using the large well equipped kitchen to cook meals for the group - eaten outside in the verandah area - lots of seating. The pool area was perfect for us - lots of shaded space for lounging and swimming. The spa area is a little paradise.

Impressively furnished property with loads of room, decent outdoor space and plenty of activities availble for adults and children alike (swimming pool, table tennis, pool table, petanque, hot tub etc...). Nicely set in a rural area, quiet and peaceful. Great boulangerie just down the road, with plenty of place to see and things to do in nearby towns and village on or near to the river Dordogne. Owners live nearby and are endlessly helpful when required. Really enjoyed our stay. We were a group of old school mates, all with young families and La Braude was excellent for us.
