GÎTE AVEC PISCINE A LA CAMPAGNE A DEUX PAS DE LA VILLE

Family of Grandparents, "kids " & spouses and grandkids. We had a fabulous time.....way too cold to swim....But the kids went nuts over the TALL TALL swing set....lovely well equipped house in the middle of a fairly huge hay field, all in flowers.....And orchards beyond that WOW!!! (NO restaurants for us with that pile of little boys!)...but the .supermarket close and had everything. Easy drives to the SITES ......Theirry's apple juice is so good...He and Josiane could not have been better hosts. Fabulous.....Liz Ricci

"We had a relaxing and easy time here. Although the Mouniers' property is just outside Avignon and only 2-3 miles from the city centre, it is secluded and remarkably peaceful. Surrounded by orchards and tree-lined fields, it feels like open countryside. The accommodation is pleasant, modern, clean, and well equipped. The pool is large enough to swim in. Thierry and Josiane Mounier are charming and friendly hosts, who provide a warm welcome and keep in touch without intruding. We found them attentive and enormously helpful. The nearby supermarket is excellent, and the village of Montfavet is quiet and pleasant with a pretty main square and market."

"Our 2 weeks at Montfavet were the most enjoyable of our 5 weeks in France. The modern well equipt gite was very clean and the quiet rural location was marvellous. All the quiet charm of a rural location but close to the village, supermarket shopping, Avignon center and the rest of the region. Thierry and Josiane were most welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. If coming to the area again we would be happy to stay here."
