QUIET AIR-CONDITIONED GITE WITH 2 BEDROOMS AND THEIR PRIVATE BATHROOM

We had a wonderful stay with Chantal and Gaby. They are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The gite was beautifully decorated with all the modern comforts. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

The kitchen was clean, appliances new, and it had everything that we needed to cook a meal. The only problem we experienced was the low lighting after dark. The location is quiet and peaceful. You will need a car to get around. Chantel was a very gracious host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This lovely gite was such a surprise to find down a country lane on the outskirts of Avignon. From there we had easy access by car to the beautiful hill towns of the Luberon and by public transport to Avignon itself. Simply furnished, well equipped, and with a private patio, we so enjoyed returning to its peace and quiet after hectic days of sightseeing. Our charming host Chantal was right next door and there if we needed her though we had complete privacy throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed in this cosy cottage for a month. We also hosted a friend here for a couple of weeks. The cottage is spacious, full of natural light, clean and set in an a large green meadow! The tranquility of this place made every day perfect! The two bedrooms with their own showers and toilets were modern . The living / dining area was comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and we were able to cook whenever we felt like it. The host Chantal is warm, welcoming and an absolute treasure. She was ever so kind to us.It was clear she wanted us to have the best time! Chantal organised French lessons gave me a French cooking lesson in her own kitchen , invited us to drinks with her charming husband Gaby and daughter Marjorie. Chantal gave us insight s into places to visit around the region and dining options. All in all we had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage with its own private entrance and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The Old City of Avignon is a fascinating place packed with culture, history, shopping and superb restaurants. We did excursions to towns and villages like Aix en Provence, Roussillon etc all just a day’s excursion .So the location, just 15 minutes from the old town of Avignon and close to supermarkets, Sunday farmers markets and interesting historical sites is fantastic. My friend and I have spent a beautiful and relaxing week in Chantal’s gite. The house is in between some fields, but still very close to Avignon's city center. The place was clean, well organized and well-equipped. And there was plenty of space! Chantal is also a very committed host. She was always available and helped us whenever we needed suggestions. Highly recommended!

Für 1 Woche waren wir in dem schönen Ferienhaus von Chantal. Wir wurden von Chantal willkommen geheißen. Das Ferienhaus ist so wie beschrieben. Sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Chantal ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, war immer ansprechbar und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Sie hat uns mit selbstgemachter Marmelade verwöhnt. Den Garten haben wir viel genutzt. Danke für alles. Absolut zu empfehlen. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Wir haben Ruhe gesucht, und gefunden. Das Haus hatte alle Annehmlichkeiten und Ausstattungen, die man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Aber es war nicht weit zu allen Örtlichkeiten der Provence. Es waren wirklich vier erholsame Wochen; und einen herzlichen Dank an Madame Chantal, denn wenn man etwas von ihr wissen wollte, war sie immer für uns da. Vielen Dank.

Chantal's property was beautiful and located conveniently for exploring the towns around Avignon. Recently renovated, the space was immaculate and well-suited for two couples. Both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms had shower and WC so it was ideal. The kitchen is well-stocked with all necessary appliances. Washer and dryer were very convenient for a longer stay. One note: Use the Waze app rather than Google maps or Apple Maps to locate the property as the directions on Google/Apple maps bring you in on a blocked access road. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to explore Provence and the beautiful surrounding area.
