Gîte de charme dans un colombier

We had a wonderful week in the dovecote! Everything was perfect, the rooms were beautifully decorated, we didn't need a thing-everything was there for us and it was cosy and comfortable.The setting in the garden of Yves and Michelle was stunning and it was like living in a fairytale setting . Yves and Michelle couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, helping to set the log stove with a cosy fire on a chilly evening and altering the seats on their bicycles so we could borrow them for the short cycle into the centre of Offranville.Tintin the donkey was a great addition-he was very friendly and he loved a stroke and many many carrots. We had such a fantastic time-I can't recommend it enough.

Offranville is a beautiful village. With the house just a short walk to the supermarket which has everything you need, as well as its own Michelin star restaurant. Dieppe is only a ten minute drive with fantastic seafood restaurants. The house itself was impeccably clean. The bed comfy, the shower excellent, with great facilities such as washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Surrounding the property is the most wonderfully relaxing gardens with an everyday visit from the neighbour, an inquisitive donkey who would see what we were up to. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. This holiday has kick started our adventures for more times in France to come!

Very cosy and completly equipped special house! Nothing was missing! The tower and the garden is beautifully maintained by the owners . There is space for your bicycles and there is a BBQ. Lots of supermarkets in the near surroundings! The local weekly Saturday market in Dieppe provides all the specialities which you look forward to in the Normandy! The owers are very friendly and charming. ( if only my french was better!) . We will love to come back!

Im Taubenturm haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Turm ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Allein schon im Bett zu liegen und die jahrhundertealten Balken an der Zimmerdecke zu studieren oder vor dem Kaminfeuer im Wohnbereich zu sitzen, war toll. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit: Ein großes Dankeschön an Michèle und Yves für ihre Gastfreundschaft! Unbedingt erwähnenswert: 300 m fußläufig erreicht man das Restaurant Colombier, was mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet ist. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!!!

ein rundum perfekter Urlaub in desem wunderschönen colombier. Der Turm war perfekt ausgestattet und so geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Grundstück ein Traum, unsere Gastgeber so liebenswert und freundlich..wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Vielen vielen Dank für 2 unvergesslich schöne Wochen, wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

Wir waren für eine Woche Gast im "Taubenschlag" und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, der Garten ein Traum! Familie Bouquet ist super nett und hilfsbereit, für die Kinder waren ein Basketball Korb und Speed Ball da....aber das Beste war Titin der Esel, der sich immer über eine Möhre oder Apfel gefreut hat.

Our family of 4 (2 teenagers) stayed for a week at this beautiful dovecote in Offranville. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house has everything you could need. With heated floors on the ground floor and a fireplace, the evenings where very cozy. The gardens around the house are a credit to the owners as they’ve put a lot of time and care into them. The dovecote is at the edge of town but close enough to the bakery and shops that we walked there each day for fresh croissants. We visited a few places on the Alabaster Coast but our favorite was Veules-Les-Roses. We also visited Rouen which was around 45 minutes drive away and would recommend a day in this beautiful city. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and spend a week or two exploring the Normandy coast.

We spent a week at the dovecote and will keep a very positive memory of our stay there. The place is ideal with children, and Tintin the donkey turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip for the children. One special note is that the place was very well kept, and extremely clean.
