Normandie, 3 km mer, Charretterie du XVIIè siècle restaurée, 12 personnes

La Charretterie is a lovely old property, well furnished and with a big garden and ample outdoor seating.The village, Offranville, is very small but has an excellent bakery, a couple of takeaways, and village life centres around the Tabac.Dieppe is 15-20 mins drive away and has a beautiful beach and lots of restaurants. Pourville beach also lovely.The host Antoine could not have been more helpful. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with immediately - excellent communication and very friendly.Thoroughly recommended.

We had a wonderful week at La Charretterie. It is such an amazing house with a great garden. It has a very rustic feel to it which we loved. There is everything you need for cooking although the kitchen workspace is a little small especially given the number of guests staying. The house was very clean but not palatial and not fussy which is good when holidaying with children. Its proximity to the supermarket and the boulangerie is ideal and only a ten minute walk. It is also a quick car ride to Dieppe and the nearest sandy beach. It is important that you check the tide times though. The nearby countryside is stunning and makes for a perfect family holiday.

Belle maison normande tout confort bien située pour visiter la région. Commerces à proximité.... Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille...

Maison propre, bien équipée avec beaucoup de charme, à 2 pas du Carrefour Market et très proche de Dieppe. On recommande !

A beautiful house, wonderfully well equipped and perfect for a family holiday. The garden is great for children to play.

Die Charretterie ist einfach nur wunderschön, Terracottafliesen in warmem Rotton kombiniert mit Mauern aus Naturstein, Ziegeln und altem Balkenwerk, dazwischen große Glasflächen, die den großzügigen unteren Raum mit Licht fluten. Die fünf Zimmer sind klein und fein, perfekt für Gäste in Einzelbelegung oder ebenso viele Paare. Die Lage am Ortsrand ist ruhig, Supermarkt und andere Geschäfte sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die 20 Radminuten entfernte Steilküste mit ihren rundgeschliffenen Steinen ist unvergleichlich schön, das Meer schimmert goldentürkis, die Ebbe legt weite Sandstrände frei. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder.

We spent a wonderful week at La Charretterie. Antoine responded to our questions so promptly, my elderly parents were accompanying us and I had quite a few questions! The property is very large overlooking a pleasant garden and a very easy walk into the delightful village of Offranville which has a number of patisseries, a tabac (which made us very welcome), banks and a Carrefour and a stunning church with beautiful bell peals. The excellent weekly market is on Friday afternoon and there are visiting food vans two evenings a week with high standard takeaways. You must also visit the gardens and tea rooms which Antoine recommended. We enjoyed visiting the area, Dieppe is only 15 mins away. The house was really too large for our needs but I chose it because of the downstairs facilities together with the two bathrooms upstairs, one with shower and the other with a bath which suited our needs perfectly, I was also very happy with Antoine’s quick responses which gave me the confidence in making the booking. La Charretterie is a gem of a property and we felt privileged to be a guest.
