Gite Edelweiss avec terrasse et parking au coeur d'Eguisheim, à10km de Colmar

Property needs renovating but very comfortable and great location

We were a family with two kids that stayed 4 nights. Our host communicated well with us from the beginning and to the last check out! She was available to answer questions and point out attractions in the area. Check in was very fast and convenient without any delayes… The best part of our stay was the appartment!!! It is located in the heart of the town right next to restaurants and shops! Appartment it self is well equipped and with modern amenities and even a washer&dryer which is important when travelling with kids! Kids had a nice bedroom to themselves! We had lovely patio to ourselves and enjoyed having dinners there. Overall, we loved the place very much and will be coming back!

This apartment was perfect. Even though there was just the 2 of us it would be perfect for a family.

We loved Eguisheim during Christmas season and can’t wait to come back when it’s a bit warmer! The Christmas market in town was wonderful and we also enjoyed Riquewihr, Strasbourg, and our favorite, Colmar! The apartment is perfect; it’s so cozy and feels like home! Tania was always available to answer every question, and was so sweet! All of my family loved the experience and our”home away from home”!!!

Cottage Edelweiss was the perfect accommodation for our two-week stay in the beautiful medieval village of Eguisheim. Tania is a delightful and helpful host, who made us feel welcome from the first moment she met us upon our arrival. The large apartment is decorated to a very high standard, with painted pastel walls that encourage relaxation and rest. It was spotlessly clean, with comfortable lounge furniture and large dining table. A fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation very easy. The bathroom is large, with bath and shower stall, both with endless hot water. We appreciated the faultless Wi-Fi connection. Beds and linen are also of high quality. And although the weather during our November stay did not allow its use, there is a large, private terrace. Don’t miss the exquisite food (and wine) at Caveau D’Eguisheim. And Colmar, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, and Ribeauville are must-visit locations. This is a highly recommended booking. Thank you, Tania, for making our stay so enjoyable.

The property was as advertised. Large, three comfortable bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with twins. Bathroom large and excellent. Kitchen well equipt.

Communication from owner was good, lots of space in the property (there were only two of us!). Garage was useful for our bikes but garage inaccessible for our estate car - we parked by the children’s playground ( a 7 minute walk away so not a problem for us). Great having outside space watching the storks fly over every night ( one night there were eight on the roof). Bakery 1 minute walk away and a multitude of restaurants at our door. Strasbourg and Freiburg wee an easy drive - lovely too! Lots of cycle paths and we must have cycled all of them - fantastic!

We were 4 women travelling. The place was very very comfortable. The beds very comfortable. Great hospitality.
