Gîte la canopée à Duras - Piscine

😊: Really lovely place & a real treat to have use of the lovely pool! Very Comfortable bed on the mezzanine . Lovely birdsong. Perfect for the two of us! Sandra was great with helpful info & arranged our very enjoyable wine tasting.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Great little Gîte which is ideal for a short or long stay with exclusive use of a swimming pool which was a great additional touch. Had everything we needed including a dishwasher. Property was easily accessible, hosts were great, communication easy. Car essential. Highly recommend.. 😢: Could do with better clothes hanging space for long items..

😊: We had a fantastic week at la canopee, it is a very special place, very quiet and surrounded by lovely countryside and vines. The gite was very well equipped and comfortable, comfy bed and powerful shower. The pool was fantastic and was great for relaxing afternoons after sightseeing. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.. 😢: Nothing ..it was all great!.

😊: We loved the quiet, peaceful and private location. The gite was tucked away in its own little world yet it didn’t feel at all remote nor isolated. The nearest town was just a nice distance away and we used it as a base which fulfilled all our needs. It had a small supermarket and patisserie. Sandra is a very intelligent and helpful host. She went far and above to help us, gave us a complimentary bottle of wine from the vineyard next door, a pot of delicious homemade jam and offered to have us shown around the vineyard. She was interesting, fluent in several languages and had a wonderful idea for detail. The gite was furnished and decorated very tastefully which made it pleasant. All crockery and cutlery, kitchen tools etc were quality too. The bed was big and comfortable, the shower was forceful and the swimming pool was superb. We have no hesitation in recommending this gite or host to any discerning traveller. We shall be back.. 😢: Nothing that would make any difference..
