😊: Really spacious and comfortable house even for a group of 9 people. It stayed cool in temperatures of over 30°. We have never seen such a well equipped rental, it has everything you could possibly need and more! It has been modernised by the owners and it is clear they've put a lot of thought into it. The views of the garden and countryside from the deck are stunning and the area is so peaceful. It is a great location to explore the area, 25 min to Le Mont St Michel and local beaches, 50 min to St Malo and also within reach of the D-Day Beaches. The owners are very welcoming and easy to communicate with, provided us with helpful information. . We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely go back at the next opportunity.. 😢: Nothing, it was perfect for us..

😊: The property is located between Mont Saint Michel and all D-Day museums. It was perfect for our region exploration. There was plenty of space for two families and a lot of equipment. We could easily enjoy a BBQ..

😊: The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like chocolates and a welcome drink. The hosts were warm and welcoming, offering useful local tips and tourist information. The garden, deck, and BBQ area added to the charm of the property. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the property, especially for those visiting Mont Saint Michel. Wishing the hosts all the best, and we’ll definitely return!. 😢: Fly screens on some windows would be helpful to keep flies out during the summer, especially since it’s in a rural area with a garden..

😊: 1. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of ingredients, oil, spices, coffee, etc. Nothing was missing that we needed. Lots of very appreciated extras - chocolates, a bottle of cider, welcome drink. 2. They wrote out a list of recommendations and provided a bunch of tourist brochures, very hospitable and friendly welcome and check in. 3. Wifi plug in dongle was good. 4. Lovely garden and deck and useful BBQ. 5. We stayed during the hottest days of the year, but due to it's excellent thermal insulation and electric shutters on all windows we were able to keep it comfortable in the house for the entire stay. 6. Quiet rural neighborhood, but with bakery 2 min drive away and easy access to Granville, Mont-St.-Michel, Avranche, etc. Overall we had a very pleasant stay, and would recommend to anyone coming to the area, particularly if you need 4 bedrooms.. 😢: We know this was their first booking and wish them well, here are the points that could be improved as they go forward with the lovely property. 1. There was some confusion over the booking with the host, we thought we'd booked all four bedrooms and bathrooms and be able to choose which we'd use, but during check in the host wanted us to use just one bedroom/bathroom that they had prepped. (No other guests would have been concurrently booked, you are renting the whole house.) The hosts were great people and we worked it out via google translate, but the listing should accurately reflect what you are renting. In the end we stayed in the downstairs bedroom that the host had prepped because the new mattress in that room was bigger and more comfortable than the upstairs doubles. 2. Fly screens are needed on at least some windows to allow venting the house while being able to look out, the electric shutters can be set to let air through but then you can't enjoy the view. It's out in the country so keeping flies out of the house in the summer is a concern. 3. The house could have been cleaner. Some odors and dirty surfaces. 4. The hosts didn't always respond promptly. 5. Some modernization in upstairs furnishings, new carpets needed. 6. The downstairs toilet could really use a vent, it's in a bit of a closet. 7. The modern heat pump is great, but every morning around 0700 we heard it pump through the radiators which acted as a bit of an alarm clock. (The heating was off, but it does some sort of daily cycle at this time that can't we couldn't seem to control.) 8. A very small point, the wifi code provided was incorrect, but the correct one is easily found on the back of the dongle..
