Gîte \"Lumières de Loire\"

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. A few minutes walk into the village. We rented bikes from Saumur and enjoyed many rides along the Loire River. House is well appointed with all mod cons and a fire place

Two American couples traveling through the Loire Valley. We found the property easily, checked in and explored the area for 4 days. The village had all we needed (boulangerie, butcher, a few restaurants) and a nice grocery store 10 minutes away. It was so quiet and peaceful, had a rustic backyard and nice bathrooms. Only thing we could have used was a bit more ambient lighting in the living area(old eyes!) but otherwise we were very comfortable.

Spacious, clean cottage. Helpful and welcoming host and beautiful area. Les Rosiers-sur-Loire is a pretty village with a few small shops, two good boulangeries. It’s right on the banks of the Loire at the bridge to Gennes-Val-de-Loire so easy access to other places. Great place for a family holiday.

The welcome on arrival was very good. We are three people on motorbikes and found the cottage ideally equiped and in a great location. The weather was hot and one bedroom did get very warm at night. A good fan would help. We loved the garden and having a BBQ, it would be a great place for a family or cyclists to use as a base, with a quiet location and lovely garden. The town is limited but everyone was friendly.. Probably better with a vehicle and self catering.

We enjoyed our stay, very much - this is a relaxing cottage. The inside is just about perfect, but the garden really needs attention - the vegetation is threatening to overrun the building.

It is a spacious property, with all the amenities needed to explore the region or relax in the garden. Excellent hosts, and we could happily adopt Tarzan the chicken. Easy walking distance to the pretty town, and a relatively short drive to many great locations nearby. We hope to return and have no hesitation in recommending this lovely, relaxing property.

Accueil cordial avec de bonnes idées restau. Gîte propre et bien situé. L'essentiel des commerces est à moins de 10 minutes à pieds.

Cozy place that feels like a home. Friendly host and and great location. We visited with my mother in law and our 2 year son - we all got what we needed from the place. The village is small and cozy and castles and wine caves are all nearby.
