Gîte Spa air-conditioned - Le Domaine du Manoir XVème, Bayeux, landing beaches

What a fabulous stay! The house setting is peaceful and gorgeous, I wish we'd had more time to really spend here. The hosts are all lovely and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable with great AC - on the wall style, not in a window, which was a nice surprise. The separate bedroom in the pool house area downstairs was a good setup for our family, and the pool itself was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Absolutely recommend and hopefully will be back again ourselves one day!

Our stay was fantastic. It was nice to spend a few nights in the Normandy countryside. The property is fantastic - well kept gardens and the lily pond were beautiful. We we able to prepare meals in the kitchen and use the laundry machines in the middle of 2.5 weeks in Europe, which helped us limit our bags.Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had a great experience seeing life on the French countryside. It was a short drive to Bayeaux and Normandy. The hosts were great and were very accommodating despite our late arrival (1:00 in the morning)!

We were delighted with our stay in Le Manoir. The property itself is precisely as listed -- gorgeous, historic, spacious - and still with every modern amenity. Our hosts were helpful, cheerful and understanding when we were very late checking in (flight delays!). The village is fascinating to explore with old bridges and church (1025) and also lending libraries and gorgeous plantings. Grocery store options are plentiful with local depaneur in 10 minutes and full Carrefour in 15-20. I long to return.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine dans cette location avec nos 3 filles. Nous tenons à remercier les propriétaires pour leur disponibilité, leur accueil chaleureux et leur extrême gentillesse. C'est un endroit spacieux, calme et propice à la détente (jardin magnifique, étang, nénuphars, fontaine, transats, superbe jacuzzi pour toute la famille...) et situé à proximité des principaux sites à visiter (plages du débarquement, Bayeux, Mont St Michel...). Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation et envisageons d'y retourner une semaine l'été prochain.

This property is outstanding and it’s owners are so intent on providing the best stay possible. The extras such as a great gas bbq is a great bonus. The jacuzzi was big enough for the six of us. It also provides satellite tv.we would highly recommend staying here.
