GOULT Luberon superbe maison de village climatisée vue exceptionnelle piscine

We have been here before in a great village locstion in a great village ..perfect for what we are looking for

We were impressed by the beautiful house which has everything you need. Also the pool and garden were gorgeous. Everything was clean and the kitchen very well equiped. The village of Goult is very close which was perfect. We also enjoyed the breathtaking view from the garden. There was airconditioning available downstairs but the owners did not allow us to use it. Because of the high temperatures outside during our stay (36-38 degrees) it was really too warm in the house (downstairs 28 and in de bedrooms 30+ degrees) even though we left windows and doors open all night till 0800 hours to let the cool air come into the house. Since no fans were available, we had to buy 4 fans at our own expense to be able to sleep at night. We left the fans behind so hopefully the guests who rent the house after us will be happy with it. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay in the house.

When we met the owners, they were absolutely charming,and obviously cared for their lovely house. We loved the location, the ease of walking to the Boulangerie and the cafes, and restaurants. The house worked really well with lots of amenity space and it added to a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend

What an incredible accommodation in the beautiful little village of Goult. Le Castelivier is a clean, comfortable, exquisite place to stay. Home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the back patio is breathtaking! Communication with the owner and their assistants was easy. You just couldn't find a better place to stay in the lovely Luberon.

Maison très agréable, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, fonctionnelle…une vraie maison de famille avec piscine et une vue splendide…le tout situé dans un très joli village provençal…nous avons adoré ce séjour d’une semaine en famille…nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 semaines à Goult. La maison est parfaitement adaptée à la location : vaisselles, équipements, chambres avec salles de bain, matériel de puériculture .. et les propriétaires très disponibles et aimables. La vue splendide, et la proximité du village, ajoutent au charme du séjour. Un seul point d’amélioration : la gestion du linge de maison (payant - ce point est indiqué dans l’annonce).

Cette maison était parfaite (équipement, propreté et emplacement). Nous avons adoré Goult, ce village avec ses petits commerces de proximité et sa tranquillité. Il y fait bon vivre. Pas trop de monde. Dans la rue principale, le café de la Poste est un endroit central où il règne une atmosphère de bistrot très sympathique. Il faut s’y rendre le vendredi soir pour la musique et les tapas. Petit point négatif. Il y avait des travaux en dessous de la maison impliquant des nuisances sonores durant la semaine.

We have had many holidays in and around Goult and this property is really well placed with only a few minutes walk from the centre of Goult with its shops and restaraunts. The Cafe de la Poste is nice for a drink with a musician there on Friday evenings. The house is well furnished and very well equipped and the outside covered area is lovely for all meals. The patio across the back of the house looks over the garden and pool across to Bonnieux. Goult is well placed for visiting the Luberon with kayaking and tree walks near Fontaine Vaucluse as high lights for the girls. We holidayed with our son and daughter in law, twin 8 year old grand-daughters and twin 18 month old toddlers. The pool is in the sun all day and was well used with the water temperature in the mid 30 degrees most days! A previous guest review suggested fans would be a good idea and we were surprised that with the unusually high temperatures forecast for our stay, no fans were made available for the bedrooms. On most nights the outdoor temparature was still 30 degrees at 10pm so sleeping was very difficult, especially in the upstairs bedrooms. Also the insect mesh was not on all windows so we did get a lot of mosquito/midge bites during the night. These 2 issues are easily rectified and would give this lovely holiday property 5 stars.
