😊: Just a few minutes walk from plenty of restaurants and the river front. Spacious and well equipped. Clean and comfortable.. 😢: I frequently use booking.com and have never been scammed but a previous reviewer had extreme difficulty gaining access to the apartment which made me a little nervous. So several days before arriving I messaged the property asking about access. No response. Over the next several days I left multiple messages via text, voicemail and again via booking.com. Absolutely no response. On the day we drove to Auxerre I had still heard nothing. More texts and voice calls going straight to voicemail. On the way we stopped in Dolé for lunch. Another message. Another call straight to voicemail. We arrived. No one there. Nothing. Now really nervous, I checked my phone and the instructions had arrived while we drove from Dolé. But I find the utter lack of responses extremely rude, unprofessional and unacceptable. Esteban, you really need to improve your communication skills!!!.

😊: The property was spacious and clean and well equipped with a lovely little touch of biscuits and Sancerre honey. The owner came to check all was well for us which was lovely. Sadly we were out. The property was right in the centre of town but parking on the ramparts nearby was easy. Even with a big event happening that day.The owner even warned us about this. We loved the little terrace amongst the roof tops to sit at night.. 😢: Nothing really. Being really picky , the toilet for the second bedroom was not in the bedroom but off the main living area. It wasn’t a problem though..
