Granville et iles Chausey maison à 50 m de la mer avec jardinet et terrasse

As you might have guessed from the title, if location is all that it is important this could be the place for you. More or less straight onto a great beach, a short walk to a pretty village & a mile or so from the quality resort of Granville. The downside is that both the house & the service can be best described as tired, and designed to maximise profit rather than enhance a guests experience. Linen/towel hire was expensive for cheap worn stuff (we could have bought better for the fee !); plus I didn't felt comfortable with the owners approach of presenting the before & after energy readings, with €23 odd for 3x days seeming on the high side when we didn't cook or heat & just slept there ! Last negative is the lack of WiFi particularly as the mobile signal was also very poor. All in all, The owners were friendly enough & I would consider this house again for a short stay, on location alone. I would however I make sure I read the small print on the French language only contract & factored in all the extra potential costs before sending a deposit.
