Spacious, well furnished and equipped - like home.

We in stayed in the Hortensias gite, July 2023. 11 people in total. Bruce and Nathalie are super nice and chilled. Accommodation is well kept and clean even for those OCD. The master bed room and downstairs bedroom have their own sinks, in addition to the down stairs shower room/laundry. There is one toilet/sink downstairs and one toilet/sink upstairs. Then theres a bathtub with shower upstairs. Livingroom has AC, but we found once sun set opening up the shutters/curtains would allow a nice breeze. Bruno, also let me try charging my EV in his outbuilding which works fine with a schuko adapter. Otherwise there are Tesla superchargers in Blois which is 10mins south. It's a wonderful place to getaway, and good location to visit Blois, Orleans, Tours.

The villa is exceptional! Do not hesitate, book now! The photos do not do the property justice!! My family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers stayed for 1 week. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, very spacious and well equipped. The pool and spa area made this a very luxurious stay and enhanced our enjoyment of the week. The private garden with large outdoor dining table was perfect for feeding everyone with gorgeous views in very calming surroundings. Lots to see and do in the neighbouring towns with plenty of amenities just a short drive away. Communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish, they work very hard to keep the whole place well maintained. There are a few properties on this site but everyone has their own garden which was seculuded and although the pool and spa is shared, we barely saw anyone! We honestly can't recommend this ace enough and will definitely book for our next stay in France.

We selected Champouteau because it was advetised as being child friendly and had a decent sized swimming pool. Champouteau lived up to its billing. My family spent a wonderful relaxing week there made better by the friendly and relaxed welcome by Bruno and Nathalie.
