House - Chalet in a pine forest, sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped

Quiet and pretty chalet in the pine forests, 10 mins cycle from the sea at Carcans-Plage and 5 mins cycle from nearest village, Maubuisson. It's one of many chalets arranged in estates and dotted throughout this area between Maubuisson's lake and the sea. Along the coast there are many miles of continuous beach. There are many cycle and walking paths through the pines and bike hire is available in Maubuisson. Using these paths one can get to areas of the coast with only perhaps 6 people on the huge stretch of beach. Perfect holiday if one wants quiet and a sense of space. The French-speaking owners were kind and the chalet has pretty much everything. Good shower. Linens must be rented but the cost isn't prohibitive. French people seem to pay damage deposits on arriving in euros, cheques or perhaps bank transfer, so don't try to use a card.
