Maison de famille piscine 12 personnes prés du Lac Carcans/HOURTIN, Océan, vigne

We stayed in the house with three families (6 adults, 6 kids between 3 and 10 years) and had a great holiday. The large, fenced garden is perfect for kids to play, the house is very calm, nicely furnished and very well equipped. Only the wifi-connection could be a bit better. The beaches of the Atlantic Ocean (Hourtin Plage or Carcans Plage) can be reached by car within 15-20 minutes, the sandy beaches of Lake Hourtin (Maubuisson or Houtin Port), within 10-15 minutes, there are lots of free parking sports right at the beach. If you prefer going by bike, there are very nice cycle track s all around in the forrests surrounding the house. Different shopping opportunities (small local stores, supermarkets or even markets) can be found nearby in Carcans, Maubuisson and Hourtin. The host Karine is very friendly and speaks English fluently. We can definitely recommend the place and might come back again one day.

We (a group of eight friends from Germany) really enjoyed the stay in this wonderful house. It is located in a quite area next to a little camping ground and lake Hourtin. The ocean is reachable within a 20min drive. There wass enough space for all of us in the nicely furnished rooms. The kitchen is on high standard and we used the big barbecue in the outside area every evening. The contact to the owner was nice; Karine explained every detail after the arrival. She was so kind enough to come over on a Saturday morning to help out after the fridge got broken. We would definitely recommend this house and would like to come back someday. Thank you.
