IDEAL POUR LES COUPLES - Gite avec piscine privée et des vues spectaculaires

We had a fantastic time at the site. The house is very clean and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The bedroom stays cool on hot days. There is a big pool outside which is perfect on hot days. You can sit outside under the pergola next to the pool, where you have a beautiful view over the area. The holiday home is located on a hill (great view), close to a forest for nice walks. There is a château nearby where you can walk towards. Alun Sandra are lovely people, they give you a warm welcome on arrival, They are always available for questions or for a little chat. Alun cleans the pool daily and Sandra makes sure you have plenty of fresh towels available. There is plenty to do in the area, Brantome is close by (5 minute drive) where there is a great bakery 2 supermarkets. There is a nice market on Friday. There are plenty of château's in the area, you have very nice walks close by, you can also rent a canoe in brantome. We would highly recommend spending your holiday here!

The property was in a great location to get out and about. Sandra and Alun are fabulous hosts, around when you need them but not overbearing. The bed was very comfortable, the pool cleanliness was well maintained by Alun. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome and at home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Gite itself is very comfortable with an extensive kitchen and large bedroom and lounge. It is well furnished and there is a large modern shower room and toilet. The swimming pool,patio and outside eating areas are really good.The location is superb with nearly 360d far reaching views across fields and woods.Our hosts Sandra and Alan were attentive and pleasant company when we met them from time to time.

With the thermometer nudging forty degrees the pool was delightful. So much so that we hardly ever left this lovely property and even stayed for a few extra days. Would highly recommend this gite. Alun and Sandra were good hosts, unobtrusive but friendly and helpful. Five stars all round.

Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Sandra et Alun. Nous avions à notre arrivée (assez tardive, 21H30) un plateau de bienvenue avec vin, fromage et pain... adorable! La propriété est belle, la piscine super. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement en campagne à 5mn en voiture de Brantome, joli petit village surnomé la Venise du Périgord. Nous reviendrons dès que nous le pourrons. Claire Pierre

We had a lovely stay with Sandra and Alun and had a great time. Much to see and the house was beautifully maintained. We loved staying here and might be back soon! We really enioyed the perfect stay!
