Hidden gem with 5 star...<br>#128578; This place is a hidden gem! It's like a journey back in time. The building is very charming, the interior features 17th-century wooden floors, floor-to-ceiling custom draperies, and interesting literature everywhere. The location is a short walk away from the centre of Brantome while being completely immersed in nature. The cute goats and sheep on the premises were a nice surprise for our daughter, who loved to say hi and feed them a couple of times a day. The hosts are the kindest people. ...<br>#128577; There was not much we didn't like! Just be mindful that this BB is run mostly by the owners without any staff, and has only a couple of rooms, so it is more a family-style BB, not a hotel with 24/7 service etc. But we like this much more when you know what to expect.

Excellent stay.<br>#128578; The breakfast was excellent as was the lovely bottle of wine they provided. The location was excellent and the hosts very welcoming. The house was lovely and well maintained.
