We had a great time at the lovely Chateau Lamothe. With a large group of family, we greatly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, the beautiful outdoor areas including the pool, and the activities such as billiards and ping pong. We did find the bathroom situation tough to manage with 3 distinct family groups and one of the half baths being downstairs which required many to share the upstairs ones. The warmer nights were also tough with only windows for cooling (and mosquitoes) until we learned how to properly use the bug repellent electronic devices. We really appreciated the family run operation and getting to know Anne. She was lovely to chat with and provided a great tour of the winemaking including the unique underground cellars. We should also mention just how excellent their wines are! We bought quite a bit to share and some to take home. Overall we were very impressed and highly recommend staying here.

un séjour qui ne mérite que des superlatifs : magnifique lieu, extrêmement bien tenu, parfaitement équipé la terrasse et la piscine sont justes incroyables Accueil d'une rare gentillesse, et visite des caves trés intéressantes. Bref, nous avons déjà envie de revenir !

Très belle propriété familiale, rénovée avec soin. Je recommande cette très belle demeure de charme bien entretenue, le cadre est parfait pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Maria a été aux petits soins avec nous et nous a fait découvrir l’histoire du château et de ses vignes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The week spent at this beautiful Château was truly magical. From the welcome introduction to the house, to the tour of the wine caves, vineyards and tasting, we all had such a lovely time. The kids loved the pool and playing pool. The house is a well loved family home and it was a pleasure to spend a week with Marie and her husband and not forgetting Simba the wonder-dog who kept us all entertained!
