😊: Great unit with off street, secure parking on-site. Well fitted out and spacious enough for a comfortable stay for a number of nights.Well located, quiet and near public transport. Clean. Plenty of coffee pods provided for the coffee machine, which was much appreciated (and a rarity in France, where other places sometimes only provide 2 pods for 3 night stays!). Very friendly, relaxed and helpful host, who even drove us to the ferry and gave excellent tips during our stay and particularly regarding Marseille traffic when we left. We would certainly come back to this place if we visit Marseille again in the future. We also appreciated the welcome gift..

😊: The apartment is very cozy, though a bit dark - it definitely has a "basement vibe." Very nice yard with parking place. While it is well-equipped, my experience was completely overshadowed by the host’s behavior. The host is present all the time - for some it's an advantage for others it is a disadvantage.. 😢: Initially, the host seemed friendly, but that turned out to be a facade. On the evening before my departure, he informed me that I was expected to clean the entire apartment myself. When I asked if he simply meant washing the dishes I had used (which is standard etiquette), he told me no - I had to clean everything, noting that "the vacuum is in the closet." He explicitly stated that while he usually hires a cleaning service, he didn’t feel it was "cost-effective" to pay for professional cleaning since I was only staying for two nights. I felt terrible. This situation practically ruined my stay in beautiful Marseille. As a foreigner, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was some underlying prejudice involved. I’m writing this to warn future guests: Do not be surprised if you are asked to vacuum the floors, scrub the bathroom, and strip/remake the beds yourself. Unless you want to spend your holiday doing unpaid manual labor, I would suggest looking elsewhere. I am not going back to this place..
