70% of the linens and pillows had the stench of mold or mildew, like they were left wet for a week inside the laundry machine. The mechanical ventilation system bangs 1 to 10 times per second that changes rate everytime you open and shut the bathroom door. You can hear it from the bedroom. There is a sign stating you can turn off the ventilation, however provided no instructions to do so. No electrical switch in the entire place controlled the ventilation. We spent 45 min looking for a method, and found none.

😊: Location. Very convenient and easy walking to train and bus station. Also for old town, the lake and restaurants and cafes. We arrived by train so suited us perfectly. Lots of useful information in the bi lingual information folder and lots of leaflets on what to do whilst staying in Annecy.. 😢: Needed a more thorough clean. Very dusty in bedroom under and down sides of bed. Also a bit grubby in the kitchen cupboards, bottom of bins and bathroom ( I did some extra cleaning on arrival) but drew the line at hoovering. No view - out onto a flat roof. Bed very hard..
