😊: The location is excellent. Approx. 100m from the pedestrianised street that has most of the shops and restaurants. Another 100m further on and you will find the river bank. You really can't find a better place in Amboise to access all of the main attractions.. 😢: It was very hot when we were there (40 degrees) and although the bedrooms had fans supplied, it was very difficult to sleep, but I appreciate that the weather was unusually hot and wouldn't expect the owners to install air conditioning just because of a couple of very hot spells each year..

😊: Location friendly staff, funky. 😢: No air conditioning or blinds in bedroom.

😊: Good location for access to the town. Nicely refurbished from an old carpentry workshop. Parking was good to have. It was more comfortable than it looked from the photos and the bedrooms were also nice and comfortable.. 😢: Not really a problem but accessing the parking when you first arrive is challenging. You need to pull off the road and position the car ready to pull forward and reverse once you’ve collected the key from the key safe and opened the gate. The road is quite busy and the traffic flow means you have to do it quickly so as not to hold the traffic up too much. Once you’ve done it once it’s not really a problem..
