Le Clos Richelieu

😊: The hosts were excellent, met us early on arrival and walked us round the property in no rush.Then provided good tips for Amboise and surrounding area.

😊: Location is amazing, just a close stroll to everything. The view in the garden was stunning, we spent many happy hours in the mornings with a coffee admiring the castle. Plus… air conditioning was such a relief in the hot weather.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Excellent hosts - Monique and Pierre-Jean were extremely welcoming, accommodating and kind. The property was in the perfect central location and had all amenities we could need and more. Brilliant experience. Would definitely stay again!.

😊: Location was excellent Gite was well equipped and well presented Hosts very obliging. 😢: Would have liked a fixed shower and toilet as part of en suite Not convenient to have to go from upstairs main bedroom through other bedroom, to access the stairs…..not ideal . For price would have preferred 4th bedroom instead of multiple beds in one room.we were a party of 3 adults and 2 teenage children who like privacy and so one bedroom with 4 single beds did not meet our needs. Didn’t appreciate that Gite was next to owners therefore didn’t have privacy which we would have preferred . They also needed to go about their daily tasks which is not ideal from our holiday perspective..

😊: Location was absolutely awesome with view of castle and area for children with soccer nets and basketball hoop. Beautiful home was very well equipped and spacious. Hosts were very friendly and showed us through home. Washing machine instructions simplified by way of numbers on machine showing sequence of buttons to push. Would absolutely recommend this property and hosts to family and friends and would love to come back ourselves. Forgot to mention also the secure parking on-site for our 2 cars and short walks to attractions..
