L'échassier

😊: Everything, it was really lovely. Easy joining instructions and contact with the owner. L’echassier is in an excellent location, very quiet location in a cul de sac. Grandcamp-Maisy is a place to base yourself and explore this beautiful region of France. We had e-bikes with us and enjoyed the quiet roads and excellent cycle paths out to Omaha Beach and beyond along the coast, and what a beautiful coast line it is. The gite is very comfortable and well maintained with everything that you could need. The side terrace decking is excellent for sitting outside with a coffee, but to be honest with the large sliding doors at the front and side fully open you feel like you’re outdoors sitting on one of the two sofa’s.. Lovely local restaurants and a nice supermarket 3 minutes drive away, we ended up cycling each day to it on the way out or coming back home. Highly recommended this accommodation and will look to return in the very near future.. 😢: Nothing to report here..

😊: Lovely self contained relaxing little spot. Very nice having the terrace/deck with bbq.. 😢: An awning attached to building to pull out in light rain would be great. The umbrella would get caught by pretty light wind and fall over so not best for this. Listing said minimarket but there was none and closest a bit of a walk away..

😊: The quietness. We slept fantastically. It’s very comfortable. The hosts thought of a lot of things. Everything you need, is there. The terrace and the outdoor-area are great if you’re travelling with young children.. 😢: The amount of flies by the end of the day. They all pack together near the ceiling. Very annoying sometimes..
