L'Esprit Montpel "Face à l'Eglise St Roch"

This was the perfect location to experience the old city. The rental is one level up from the street so it felt airy and lively with the windows open with no issue for privacy with people not being able to see inside. We thought there would be noise but the glass door for the bedroom is soundproof. We had a great stay and would rent again!

Es war wunderbar und wir...<br>#128578; Diese Wohnung liegt großartig zentral, umgeben von Restaurants und mit Blick auf eine Kirchentreppe, auf der sich den ganzen Tag Menschen treffen. Man fühlt sich sofort zugehörig und erreicht das gesamte Zentrum von Montpellier fußläufig ganz bequem. Unser Vermieter hat uns sehr nett empfangen und mit guten Tipps versorgt.<br>#128577; Die Gegend ist nachts superbelebt. Man kann daher leider nicht mit gekippt Fenstern schlafen, sondern muss Läden und Fenster schließen. Dann ist es allerdings wirklich leise (und der Ventilator funktioniert geräuschlos und sehr gut). Wir waren zu zweit. So oder als Familie mit Kindern ist das Badezimmer ausreichend, das Teil des Schlafzimmers ist. Bei 2 Paaren könnte das heikel sein.

Bain ouvert dans le chambre double qui est ok grace au rideau. Si vous êtes quatre il vaut mieux se connaître bien vue l'aménagement. Belle petit escalier qui monte au mezzanine ou il y a une chambre avec 2 lit simple. Faire attention l'escalier nest pas adapté aux enfants ni personnes avec les soucis de mobilité. Ich würde sofort wieder buchen,...<br>#128578; Die Einrichtung ist schön gestaltet, die Lösung für die Räume ist sehr gut gelungen, die Badewanne im Zimmer ist gut und das Beste ist die Lage des Hauses und die mittelalterlichen Bauteile.<br>#128577; Das mobile Klimagerät hat bei großer Hitze Schwierigkeiten auch den oberen Raum zu kühlen.

Le locataire a été toujours très gentil avec nous en s'adaptant a l'heure de remise des clés et en nous laissant partir tard le soir le jour qu'on devait laisser l'appartement !<br>#128577; Comme il n'y a pas des volés, la lumière rentre depuis super top le matin, et c'est compliqué de bien dormir. Comme l'appartement est à côté de l'église, on entendait les cloches chaque demie heure, chose qui rendait aussi difficile le sommeil Pour la douche, aussi un petit souci, comme il n'y a pas de rideaux, on peut que prendre la douche assis dans la baignoire car si non, l'eau sort partout, donc pas très pratique

Communication with Etienne throughout the process—from start to finish was superb. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment featured simple/stylish furnishings, all the comforts of home, and a terrific view. It was easy to pretend that we were Montpellierans—walking to the bakery, the covered farmers market, dozens of cafes and restaurants. Indeed all attractions were right outside our door. The building is over 100 years old and oozes French charm. There is no elevator but the stairs are very wide and manageable if you can carry your bag. Montpellier is easily accessible by transit and a gem if you are seeking a time immersed in southern France—away from the bustle of other, more recognizable cities.

This flat has a perfect location right in the middle of the old town area. There are shops, cafes, and bars on every block surrounding the rental. The view can't be beat out the front window! We had a car and there was a parking garage about a 5 minute walk from the flat, which wasn't bad at all. We stayed while there was a heat wave and while there is an air conditioner, it did stay pretty warm in the apartment. I'm sure that isn't an issue when it's not a mid July heatwave. Everything was clean and presented nicely, and the very agreeable hosts even left us a bottle of wine! I would absolutely stay here again.
