L'orée des bois , détente et calme . - Entire Place

😊: We loved the charm of the little chalet and the tranquility of the location. Our hosts left us fresh eggs, from their own hens, on the day of our arrival,. A very kind gesture. The location was perfect for exploring nearby Annecy and even a trip into Geneva. This was a weekend getaway for us and proved the perfect tonic. The Sunday market in Annecy was fabulous and our last afternoon was spent sitting on the terrace with a glass, or two, of wine and our books.. 😢: We arrived on a very hot day and although the A/C kept the lower floor at a very comfortable temperature, this didn't extend to the bedroom, which, for us, was uncomfortably hot. As a consequence, we were unable to sleep there and used the bed settee on the lower floor instead. Not a problem on the Sunday though as the external air temperature was cooler. However, an extra A/C unit in the bedroom might be a worthwhile consideration...

😊: A very quaint cottage in the woods. So many birds and a lovely walk next to the stream and then through the countryside. Sweet touches like farm fresh eggs.. 😢: The ceiling is very low upstairs and we bumped our heads many times. The stairs are cute but very steep..
