😊: The only good thing was the location which was perfect for us. Sadly, that’s where it ends.. 😢: We worked hard and saved to book this apartment 11 months in advance, based on its location, facilities and the limited reviews available. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. On arrival, the apartment was tired and not particularly clean. We were also supplied with insufficient bed linen and just one towel each for a 10-day stay. To make matters worse, the “pillows” provided for one of the beds turned out to be two grotty old couch cushions stuffed into pillowcases. This was far below the standard we expected from accommodation we had booked almost a year in advance. Then, on day 3 of our stay, the air conditioning broke down. We immediately explained to the owners that this was not simply a matter of comfort. My partner is a Type 1 diabetic and needs to be able to regulate her temperature, particularly at night when she cannot continuously monitor herself. We explained that excessive heat could put her health at serious risk, including the risk of slipping into a hypoglycaemic coma. We even booked a local apartment for one night at our own expense, in an attempt to give the owners some time to help find a solution. Despite this, the owners were extremely unhelpful. After several days, we were eventually told that we could have a refund if we found alternative accommodation. This was practically impossible during peak summer unless we were prepared to spend thousands of euros — money we simply didn’t have available. To be fair, the agent, Katy, tried to help as much as she could. However, the owner eventually stopped answering her calls and instead sent an aggressive neighbour to our apartment with a fan. We were told to keep the doors closed and stop communicating with the agent — despite the temperature inside reaching 36°C. After trying everything we could, we eventually had no choice but to end our holiday five days early..

😊: Nice unit in a security complex with pool, close to the beach and transport. Katy was very friendly, seamless check in/out.
