😊: The accommodation itself is perfect, new structure, modern, well equipped, quiet location, owners living in another house, just 20-30 m far away. There were some communication issues and, obviously a double overlapping reservation (airbnb and booking). Nobody's fault, owner or client, happens if you want to be listed on several sites, only it is uncomfortable for the client, who paid 1 week in advance. We were allowed to check in 2 hours later that announced (needed time to clean after the client who did not leave till 16:30 ....), so the info was a bit contradictory: either double reservation or a customer that did not leave in due time ( 11). As an excuse, the owner offered us a bottle of prosecco (a nice gesture). However, we were so tired and upset we did not drink it or took it with us, just left it behind.. 😢: To reach the property was very difficult, the access road is still under construction, then you have to follow a curvy narrow pebbles road, the GPS won't bring you there. During driving, I am not checking emails or messages, but answering phone. When finally arriving close to accommodation, called the owner to get details how to get there. He told me that he's sent email via booking, mentioning that there is a problem and if we could postpone our arrival for a couple of hours. But the email has been sent just 1 hr prior to our arrival. As a foreigner, travelling by car, not speaking french very well (all communication was in French), in a foreign city/country, what to do, where to spend time till the previous client leaves and the flat is cleaned? It was neither lunch, nor dinner time, coffees we had enough during our trip, just wanted to rest a bit after our journey. Bref, even if the accommodation deserves 9 (the bad access road) or 10, due to all difficulties we had to face, the end mark is just an 8..
