Large, charming wooden house, ocean: 2 km away and the lake: 5km away.

We had a fantastic family holiday to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. The house easily accommodated 9 of us and was well equipped with everything we needed. The outside area is a good relaxing space and we were even able to spot a few red squirrels as we ate our croissants. The location is fantastic. The beach and lake are easily accessible by bike and it was really nice to be able to cycle everywhere on safe bike tracks. Communication with the owners was excellent and the check in and check out process was very smooth. The only thing that could have made it better was to be able to hire bed linen and towels. We would thoroughly recommend staying in this lovely house and we hope to return.

Having had many holiday homes in the south of France this was the best! There was plenty of room inside and outside for the 9 (4 adults and 5 teenagers) of us. The house is well-equipped, very clean and beautifully furnished. We loved the deck: relaxing, eating and playing outside at a huge table. The owners are very friendly and correspondence worked really well. The house is in a 5 minute driving distance to the beaches of Lacanau-Océan with lots of free parking options. We also enjoyed the public golf course on the opposite side of the road. The kids enjoyed surf courses, bike trips, a splash park and day trips to Arcachon, Dune de Pilat or Bordeaux. After a long day at the beach it was always a pleasure to return and enjoy the comfort of this beautiful house. We can recommend it warmly.

We stayed at Suzanne's Villa 19/8 - 2/9 The villa was well equipped, quirky layout which the kids loved. Having stayed in Maubuisson last year we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lacanau Ocean this year. would recommend this property to any large family groups.
