Le Castel de Castillon - Maison d'exception à 10 minutes de Saint Emilion - Two-Bedroom House

Exceptional property very tastefully furnished and equipped. We were met by Gaby who showed us around. The location overlooks the canal and the swimming pool was a real bonus. The town is fairly quiet but we enjoyed just going for walks to see the vineyards and local attractions. Bread and croissants were a short walk away and the restaurant on the other side of the canal did a good meal with wine followed by dancing which was entertaining.All in all this was a great place to stay and you will not be disappointed.

Le Castel de Castillon "Gaby’s home in Castillon La Bataille could not have been more perfect. The house is so beautiful - the decor is very stylish, the temperature inside was always cool and it was so comfortable wherever we relaxed. A beautiful pool area, with lots of seating, sun and shade (our dog was very pleased!) so clean and perfect for our daily swims! We used Gaby’s home as the perfect base to explore the area, catching a stage of the Tour de France, visiting St Emilion, nearby caves and buying some excellent Bordeaux wines direct from the vineyard. The town itself was very quiet apart from market day and we found much of it closed up day and night. But Gaby’s lovely house more than made up for that, as it was fabulously equipped for cooking at home too. And Gaby was the perfect host, so friendly, welcoming and helpful with our questions. Thank you so much Gaby."

Le Castel de Castillon We had an amazing stay , we attended a wedding in a nearby chateau and we were perfectly located! Our host gabby , was more than helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be returning and exploring more

Le Castel de Castillon Absolutely gorgeous apartment, outdoor patio and 2 balconies, and equipped with everything you need. The host is also incredibly friendly and helpful. She always went the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. Cannot do anything but recommending this place to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful are of France!
