Le Chapitre - Appartement Centre - Terrasse - Climatisation - Reims

😊: Great location in Reims, within walking distance of the main sights and many of the champagne houses. Supermarkets and bakeries are also conveniently nearby. Street parking was easy to find and we used the EasyPark app for payment. The check-in instructions were clear and the accommodation was clean and had lots of amenities. We especially loved having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings. We were also very grateful that the hosts kindly allowed us to check in earlier.. 😢: We loved the place, our one comment is that with temperatures being between 35 and 40C in August, the aircon does struggle to cool the apartment and the unit is only in the livingroom area..

😊: Good location Excellent hosts Good communication from hosts Easy to access apartment with keys/lock box Very clean Good BBQ. 😢: Unfortunately, the air con unit was only in the living room and not the main bedroom - I did bring a fan with me but they are not much use when the temp is nearly 40 degrees outside. I booked the apartment thinking air con was in the bedroom too. Never mind. Secondly, the terrace was a nice space and we did use this every day however, it is a little depressing I'm afraid. There is a very old and tatty awning that needs to be removed- didn't look nice when sitting and looking at it - mouldy and full of holes. The outside of the rear of the apartment would benefit from some painting The outside decking is potentially dangerous- its lifted in many parts- we wore shoes and took care to avoid any tripping. The outdoor sofa set has not been put together properly - screws are missing and so this means that the base of the sofa/chairs move - my son fell off the sofa as it moved and collapsed! The outdoor dining table and chairs are pretty poor really- they move and wobble about meaning not a great dining experience. Overall, the terrace could be lovely and in my opinion, needs some TLC and some upgrading of the furniture..

😊: Central location, nice terrace. 😢: They could put a name on the key box and the apartment door which would make it easier to find it in the first attempt..

😊: Great location and a well equipped B&B including crockery, cutlery and kitchen items. Good washing machine. Check in information and recommendations for local shopping and restaurants was great too.. 😢: Nothing..
