😊: The location and actual apartment was ok, but the ghosting from host once paid and the huge shower leak through the ceiling ruined the stay! Avoid please.. 😢: Once the booking is made, it is passed over to an online outsourced letting agency. On the day of check-in, we were asked for a €400 deposit and they would not release the key code until they had it. I called them and messaged them as the online portal was not working and was told there was no one to take payment until later that day which was past the time we wanted to check in. I was also told that it was a legal requirement in France to take a deposit and all of our passport details. Which I knew wasn’t correct as we had just stayed in several different other properties via Booking.com in France on a road trip for a month. We had no option but to pay the deposit, and submit our passport details which we felt very anxious about. We couldn’t find any parking or bedding for the sofa bed or an iron just an ironing board so we messaged the host and still to this day have had no reply, as soon as we got the keys the the host did not respond to any of our phone calls or messages. When my husband was in the shower my little boy went down the stairs and slipped. There was a huge leak coming from the ceiling pouring down and dripping on the stairs. This had obviously been here for some time because on looking back reviews reported this back in 2023 and there was significant damage to the walls. We had to place a bucket to catch the water fall. We also reported this and had no response. The whole stay was filled with anxiousness not knowing if we were gonna get our deposit back not, not being able to use the shower because we didn’t want to cause even more damage to the property. While the apartment itself was ok, and in a good location. There was no parking , a broken shower with dangerous consequences and once booked the process was very strange and intrusive and the host then ignores you. It also took 7 days to return our deposit and again was ignored for requests for this..

😢: The apartment is located far from the center. This seemed to be a good idea to have privacy, however on a Saturday the transport drivers went on a strike and in the evening a music fest started, so all the transport officially didn’t work. Walking from the city centre is exhausting after a long day outside in the heat. The apartment is located on a side street, which has a great echo, so you will hear every step and word of people passing through. Some are not with good intentions. We had a feeling that the apartment wasn’t cleaned before our check in. Aircon didnt work. Not surprised, given how much dirt theres inside. I guess it was never cleaned. They ask guests to do dishes, which were not super diligent before us. Linen in the bed also didn’t seem to be fresh and they better didn’t ask us to remove them because what we saw underneath was disgusting. I also paid for the storage of the luggage on their platform. However no confirmation with an address arrived and they also didn’t pick up the phone until 14.40 (although lynch time ends at 14.00 according to their site). So, we had to go straight to the apartment as that was the only address we had. However, they didn’t allow us in although there was noone inside- neither guests, nor cleaners. Trash from previous guests stayed in front of the apartment during our whole stay. The deposit fee for the luggage storage which we couldn’t finally use they didn’t refund. The topic with a toilet and a sink located on different floors i underestimated- it’s indeed frustrating..

😊: Nice small apartment with all amenities you need. Close to a bakery and 15 minutes by foot to the city center. Beds and shower were good.. 😢: Not 100% clean, and some Facilities are a bit broken..
