😊: We had an enjoyable stay overall. The host was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The apartment had everything we needed for a longer stay, and the recent renovation gave it a fresh, modern feel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main beach, which made it very convenient.. 😢: That said, the apartment is in an older building, and unfortunately there were noticeable issues with dampness and mould. Although the host cleaned the mould the next morning, and the apartment has a dehumidifier, these issues may reappear. We also felt that the overall cleanliness could have been better. Despite these drawbacks, it was still a comfortable place to stay..

😊: We had a very comfortable stay. The location is superb, the apartment is well equipped and is furnished with love for details. We loved the walk-in shower and overall the upstairs area (bedroom with shower and sink). We also liked the convenient clothing rack next to the bed which was very practical and clean. You can hear kids from a neighboring school starting at around 8:30 am, but it didn't really bother us. Communication with the host was excellent.. 😢: The apartment does not get a lot of light and ventilation with fresh air from outside is a bit sparse. This is probably the trade off when staying in one of the narrow old houses right in the middle of old town Menton. The air conditioning definitely helps to establish a comfortable indoor air ambience nonetheless. Unfortunately, the cupboard underneath the kitchen counter has caught some mold which smells somewhat unpleasant. However, we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Considering the price (approximately 130€ per night) for this great location and cute apartment, it was well worth it..
