Le Français, studio au calme proche de la gare

😊: Nothing. 😢: The apartment smells. Old dusty stale smoke smell. So much so all my things stunk the next day. The walls are so paper thin that in the evening it was like the neighbours were in the room. I heard every word. Then in the morning the was non stop banging, dragging, moving goodness knows what in the apartment above me. Just horrible. Getting access with key etc was like an escape game in reverse..

😊: -. 😢: Location is hard to find and looks like a drug infested outskirt of the city, avoid at all costs.

😊: Reasonable size for one night. 😢: It fails mainly on cleanliness, which for most travellers is the most important requirement.. The bathroom in particular. The sofabed was old and torn and there was also only bedlinen for one bed and we didnt get a reply when we asked for more. The location is good for the rail station but a 25 minute walk back up steep roads from the city centre..

😊: It was a treasure hunt trying to understand where the key was in the dark. Just about ok for a 1 night stop. Bed uncomfortable, kitchen not so well equipped and floor not so clean. Amazed I was supposed to remove the linen and take out the trash, instructions for departure so long. Free parking in the street but hard to find a spot. Oven, microwave, stove, fridge and hot shower saved the stay. No internet either. In my opinion not great value for money..
