😊: There is no doubt that this apartment would be lovely in fine and summery weather...the outlook through large windows is very pleasing and it is based close to many bars restaurants and shops. In a cold, wet and gloomy outlook...apartment though is not so appealing!. 😢: Our visit was during a very wet period in February The apartment..... though undoubtedly excellent for long summer days...for us during spells of winter the flat proved rather dark...plenty of small side lights but no strong central light which was rather disconcerting on arrival...much groping around! Worst of all were the poor advance directions if arriving by car. Clear directions could be greatly improved for people unfamiliar with and driving first time to the area. Car parking facilities close by are essential though not cheap. Even more challenging were the complicated instructions for gaining access to the property..especially since the key fob didn't work on the second day! Televisiion needs clear instructions plus a battery check of the remote control. Also worth noting is that the entrance to the property is not exactly deluxe and was occasionally used by street sleepers. Note also there are lots of steps if carrying items. The lift ....which would help ...did not work. Host was quick and kindly to respond but it somehow felt that care and checks on the apartment were not top of her 'things that need doing' list. Shame..

😊: This apartment is very central has everything you need for self catering is comfortable and clean. Parking at underground secure car park only 2 mins from apartment.. 😢: The only issue I had was on second night I was awakened by loud thumping dance music which seemed to be on repeat and was coming from nearby premises or neighbour or premises. When I reported this to owner she didn’t seem surprised so can only assume this happens frequently..

😊: The apartment is located overlooking the port & near the esplanade with restaurants & shops. On the nights we were there the building vibrated until after 3am due to loud music from a nightclub below, making sleep impossible. The location would be excellent on the nights when there is no nightclub open. The apartment is very well equipped.. 😢: The noise & vibration from the night club below..

Merveilleux séjour<br>#128578; Appart super bien équipé, un vrai petit nid douillet, on se sent comme à la maison et une superbe vue sur le port. On arrive, on pose la voiture dans un garage privé fermé et on fait un tout à pied. Édith est très à l'écoute du client, sympathique et fait tout pour qu'on se sente bien chez elle. Superbe emplacement.<br>#128578; L'emplacement idéal face au port. Tout visiter à pied. L'appartement très confortable avec sa vue sur les bâteaux et les tours de la Rochelle. Le parking très appréciable.
