Le Jardin du Marais - Les Gunneras

Très bon séjour dans un adorable gîte tout confort. Merci à Paul pour son accueil et ses conseils. Feu de bois hyper appréciable en cette saison et fonctionnalité de la maison joliment agencée au top. La mer à proximité et le vert de la campagne tout autour de la maison a été très appréciable et ressourçant. On reviendra!

Très jolie petite maison, propre, confortable et bien équipée, avec un très beau jardin. Par ailleurs les propriétaires sont charmants. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, malgré un temps moyen.

Le gîte est conforme à la description et est très bien équipé (surtout pour la cuisine). Nous avons été très bien reçus par nos hôtes et le petit panier d'accueil est une délicate attention. Ce gîte est bien situé pour les visites tout en profitant du calme de la campagne. Le très joli jardin des propriétaires attenant à la location participe au sentiment de calme et de tranquilité.

Séjour de quelques jours avec 2 ados qui nous a donné envie de revenir pour découvrir la région et son histoire. Le gîte est idéalement placé et très bien équipé , les propriétaires ont à coeur de partager des informations sur la région et l'histoire du lieu. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The cottage was great. It was clean, good location to Day 75 events and Paul and Odile were great host and hostess. They greeted us with a basket of goodies and we so much appreciated it. We loved the garden and now have some good friends. Such a beautiful stay in your cottage, thank you!

The pictures of this gite and garden do not do it justice! The garden is magical with all it wonderful colours and scents. Their is an area for the children to play and a choice of areas to sit to make the most of the sunshine. The gite itself is nicely furnished and has everything a family would need, it was clean tidy a big space to park out front. Paul and Odile were lovely very welcoming and always made sure we were okay. Our children loved them and the cat Lune they make amazing hosts. Definitely looking forward to returning next year and we will practise our French! Thank you for a wonderful stay x

We stayed at Le Jardin du Marais last week. Paul & Odile are very welcoming hosts with plenty of recommendations for places to visit, they have lots of information and maps in the house to browse through. This is a really lovely Gite set in beautiful, huge, gardens complete with resident chickens which our children loved! The eggs were delicious! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is very well located to explore all that Normandy has to offer, just 5 minutes drive to the main road and you are on route to destinations very quickly. To name a few we visited Le Mont St Michel (leave the Gite at 7am to arrive at 8.30am to beat the crowds!), Bayeux, Arromanche, Port-en-Bessin, Pointe du Hoc and many, many more places of interest. Utah beach and Ravenoville beach are only a few kilometres from the house so perfect for an evening stroll to see the oyster beds at low tide! We thoroughly recommend this house! We can't thank Paul and Odile enough for allowing us to come and stay at this beautiful little idyll. Perfectly placed for exploring all The Manche region has to offer as well as the rest of Normandy. Lovely and quiet with stunning views and lovely countryside with the fact you're only 2 miles from Utah beach. The accommodation was perfect for us (couple) but there is plenty of room for more in the well appointed 2nd bedroom. Just a perfect spot for chilling out and enjoying Normandy, we can't wait to go back again and Paul and Odile are just the best, we arrived to be greeted with fresh eggs from the chickens, local cider and home made jam, what more could you ask for !!
