Le Mas des Aumèdes, gîte avec piscine, spa, sauna...

Jerome welcomed us sincerely and was helpful throughout our stay, providing guidance on things to see and do in the vicinity. The location of the property is really good in a quiet, rural location with lots of tracks and trails for walking/cycling, lovely villages nearby and a decent supermarket 4km away. The house is really well appointed with modern bathrooms snd lots of practical features - and has a very large terrace for lounging and dining with views over the swimming pool area and forest. There is a walk on Jerome's land around the perimeter and into his forest which is over 2km long and it is filled with wildlife; deer, boar, owls, woodpeckers, all of which can be seen/heard from the terrace. The pool area is very spacious and the surrounding grassy area is superb for frisbee, badminton, football - there is plenty of space. Jerome's father offered to take us on a morning walk from the house which was very interesting - if you get the opportunity do take it up. It was 12km mainly through the forest but I'm sure he can do longer/shorter to suit your wishes. In summary this is a lovely house with a lovely owner in a lovely, quiet, location
