Pet Friendly Gite Bleu

The gite was lovely. Exceeding our expectations, it had all we needed and more, so well equipped. Big comfortable bed, good shower, and decent telly…all the boxes ticked on our list. And of course dog friendly… Sophie and Craig, our hosts (two lovely dogs of their own) were superb, unobtrusive, but informative with excellent local knowledge. The wood fired hot tub was a pleasurable bonus, which we used a lot during our ten day stay, perfect for easing our weary legs after the long walks in the area. If you are into walks, there are so many around to choose from, we didn't get to do them all (download the Circwi app for comprehensive walk and bike routes). Set in a beautiful, quiet location, lovely surroundings, great patio… there is plenty to do should you want to have a lazy day at base… but the weather was kind to us for the time of year so we took advantage of it. The perfect relaxing holiday. We would definitely come again.

Just returned from 23 nights in such a beautiful Gite in a beautiful part of the Dordogne, perfect location for an escape from hustle and bustle but with plenty to do if you choose to. Fabulous hosts available whenever we needed and we were greeted with a lovely hamper treat. The hot tub was a lovely addition and used most nights to star gaze. Very dog friendly our dog definitely has holiday blues after leaving her boyfriend Ted! Our time flew by we think we need 6 weeks next time, we definitely fell into the relaxed French way of life. Super séjour dans ce logement ! Parfait si vous cherchez un environnement calme et reposant, au milieu de la nature, dans un logement très confortable et très bien équipé. Le jardin privatif, bien isolé, est vraiment agréable pour profiter du soleil. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, arrangeants et discrets. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir :)

Amazing home, amazing area, amazing experience. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Sophie was really responsive as host and warm in hospitality. The gîte was clean and homely, located in a perfectly quiet spot, surrounded by interesting activities (so much to do, even on the rainiest of days). A must-stay for anyone looking to experience Perigord in all its glory. Would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to re-visit. Ali + Duncan
