Le Relais - Authentic seaside family home with 5 bedrooms at Gold Beach

My friends (7 of us) and I stayed for 3 nights. We found these accommodations to be perfect for our large group. Just as presented. Ease of communication with the host, comfortable bedrooms to sleep in, kitchen easy to use, so quiet at night too. Should we come back to Normandy, we would be happy to stay here again.

The online photos do not depict the current state of the property which is overgrown. There is obviously a work in progress on a small courtyard which should improve options to sit outside. The weather was cold and we asked to have the heating put on but were told that it was not the time of year to have the heating on, but two days later the manager came and turned it on recognising how cold it was. The heated tail rails were not until she came and turned them on too. The washing machine was fine but the drier was not working well. We were told that really we shouldn't be using it as it was not included in the household appliances but then the manager came to see if she could get it working. The wifi was quite flaky - some days good, other days not. All in all the property is perfectly placed for visiting the D Day beaches and Normandy towns, but the house itself, for us, was rather a let down.

NICE LOCATION, PROPERTY LARGE AND SPACIOUS, INSIDE IS NOT UP TO DATE BUT IS CLEAN, OUTSIDE IS VERY PICTURESQUE WITH LOTS OF SPACE. ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT. ,
