LE SOLEIL DE MARSEILLE - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: ABSOLUTLY NOTHING. 😢: Dirty, almost no amenities, mould. I contacted the host of it’d be possible to check in later, they said it would be. When we arrived I tried to contact them (which took some time) just to hear that it has changed, but we can leave bags. After coming back to apartment it looked like it wasn’t cleaned as all. I contacted the host and they sent an old lady, who didn’t speak any English to clean. It was uncomfortable as she appeared with earlier information. During cleaning we’ve been in the apartment and the lady asked me to point where it was dirty. It was so uncomfortable and humiliating. She cleaned everything with sponge, we were supposed to use to clean the dishes. We needed to buy a new sponge, soap and a towel as there was 3 of us and only 2 towels. When going to bed we noticed that there was blood on the sheet. Next day we washed it in the washing machine and it disappeared so probably the bedding wasn’t washed 🙃. I contacted booking for help. They twice promised to find a solution and call me back and I ended up with me calling them every day to get no help. NIGHTMARE.

😊: Good location around 20 min walk to train station Near a local small mart and Aldi Good water and room heater Nice kitchen Host is in the nearby building to give the key. Good toilet flush Has wifi Kitchen is functional. They have good working stove, sink, microwave, fridge and washing machine.. 😢: Street where the building is located is very dirty. Very old building. Room is located on 3rd floor ( 4th stairs) .To get to the room you must survive killer stairs. (see photo below) Stairs have cracks and uneven steps. Be careful!!!! NO ELEVATOR!!!! Room is very old and dusty. You will have to PUT THE BEDHEETS, blanket and PILLOW CASES ON YOUR OWN. BED COVER LOOKS DIRTY!!! THEY HAVE MOSQUITOES!!!! busted light Bathroom has a shower with wonky holder. And the sink is very tiny. They don't provide foot rug for bathroom. The floor is slippery when wet after showering. No good balcony view. Sofa is very old and moist. Looks dirty. The toaster and coffeemaker is dusty. They don't provide coffee but there is salt, pepper and oil available. THEY DON'T HAVE DISHWASHER AND DISHDRAINER!!!! They also forgot to provide dishwashing liquid..
