😊: It was close proximity to the conference venue. It was also close to the train station. It was also close to various clothing, pharmaceutical, fast-food and other retail shops. It was in a very safe area where a lot of people can walk at night.. 😢: I was not told I will need to get a key. So I was not told of the location where I can get the key. I never met the hosts. I had to be assisted by a student and another person who happens to also be leasing her apartment. She told me she has had to help a lot of people who book accommodation with the hosts. I almost slept outside on the day of my arrival. Horrible..

😊: The bathroom was a bit grubby. One part used toilet roll for the three night stay.. 😢: Very complicated check in system finding the key was difficult . Perhaps an explanation of where the key was should be put on the actual booking rather than on a photo where you couldn’t cut and paste it off the picture to find the address . We arrived later than expected and it was extremely hard to find the keys appreciate they weren’t going to respond (as knew not responsive ) at 11 but equally if they hadn’t been found we were totally snookered. I was very disappointed that the booking stated the balance on my account would not change, following the link and 450 was taken from my account and I have just received that 450.00 pounds back two days after checking out. I appreciate that they wanted a deposit incase there was damage however saying the money would not be taken was rubbish ..

😊: The location was great for access to public transport and sight seeing in the old town centre. It was very close to a supermarket and bakery. A laundromat was also close by. The apartment was very well equipped with cooking utensils.. 😢: If you like to sleep with the window open the noise factor might be an issue. Regarding check-in, there was some ambiguity with written instructions not matching the photos about where the key lock was located but this may have been a translation issue. The initial lift code provided didn't work but this was resolved quickly..

😢: The host definitely needs to be much more responsive to contacts from clients. The key collection process - involving a key safe box located in a different street to the one the property is - was tedious..
