Lodge Le Chaland - charm and greenery on the banks of the Loire

We loved our time at this gite in Amboise. It was comfortable and in a quiet but central location. We appreciated being in a peaceful neighbourhood away from the tourist crowds but had only to walk across the bridge to be in the centre of Amboise. We found the apartment comfortable and well appointed. Having both a washer and dryer was a bonus. Communication with the owners was excellent and timely. We appreciated their recommendations about local sights and restaurants. The outdoor area was great, however, we were only able to enjoy it on the first night due to the weather. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was in a brilliant location and was very comfortable. We thoroughly recommend a few days in Amboise.

We, a family of 6, had an amazing stay in this beautiful home. Spacious house, beautiful architecture, friendly host, and close to the city. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Amboise!

Not only could we see Chateau Amboise from the accommodation, but within minutes we were over the bridge and in town, exploring all it had to offer. It was also an amazing base to explore the Loire region. We also thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation itself. Spread over 3 levels, we literally felt like we were in a fairytale, opening shutters in the morning and walking around the winding staircase. Excellent emplacement<br>#128578; Très bien située, maison avec beaucoup de charme et très bien équipée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité du centre historique, la vue sur le château et le caractère de la maison.<br>#128577; Le linge de maison est fourni mais il n’y avait qu’une grande serviette de bain par personne. Aussi pour moi, il manquait au moins une petite serviette de bain par salle de bain et un 2ème torchon/essuie main pour la cuisine.
