😊: Wonderful position, very quiet. The house is large and spacious, and overlooks both pool and garden beautifully. Walking distance into town meant that everyone could follow their own schedule. We really enjoyed our stay, but there were some issues which could be simply rectified by the owners.. 😢: The concierge was really responsive and professional, but a short guide to the property would really help. There are no instructions whatsoever, which means you have to contact the concierge service repeatedly. We note that this has been mentioned previously by other guests. No information on what to do with rubbish. Brown bin not supplied. Yellow bags not supplied. The swimming pool filtration system wasn’t working and even after the pool maintenance guy came it still wasn’t working. We eventually found the switch for the pool lighting down in the basement! The WiFi doesn’t reach beyond the living room. The router is installed upside-down in the basement, so this is hardly surprising! No WiFi in any of the rooms. We bought a WiFi extender which gave us signal throughout the house and garden - the owners should do this - very cheap. On arrival we had to find the property by trial and error - we were not given the name of the house! The air con in the main house is excellent, but it frankly doesn’t work at all in the pool-side bedroom which was unbearably hot. We had to buy an electric fan - which we left in the room for future guests. The garden is rather overgrown and in need of some TLC. The bushes in the driveway are overgrown so we cut them back a little since they were scraping the rental car when we drove in and out. There is an occasional smell of drains when sitting at the poolside - perhaps the septic tank needs emptying. The kitchen is not really equipped for cooking. Saucepans all use the same clip-on handle which is tedious, and we had to buy some decent knives to cut bread etc. Again, we left these for future guests. I don’t want it to seem like these issues spoiled our holiday - they didn’t - but they are all easy to fix and they are all problems which have been mentioned previously by other guests..
