Der urige Garten mit Pool und den vielen Sitzgelegenheiten ist sehr schön. Man ist absolut für sich. Für Unternehmungen muss man allerdings recht weit fahren. Tipp: Pizzeria /Ristorante L'Ambiance in Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Côte, netter Abendspaziergang und sehr lecker.

Propriété conforme à l'annonce. Très calme. Jardin trės agréable avec différentes terrasses très bien aménagées pour pouvoir profiter des différents moments de la journée. Piscine au top ! Tout était parfait.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and there was plenty of room for the kids to play in the garden. The pool was great, with steps for our toddler. She also really enjoyed the French reading books! Also, the kids enjoyed darts, basketball and boules and the neighbouring horses and chickens. There were lots of outside seating areas. We loved the pedalo on lac d'aiguebelette and Annecy was beautiful. Also lac de paladru is lovely and only 25 min away. Merci beaucoup Nicole and Jean-Marc!

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine en famille dans cette maison qui est un véritable havre de paix. Belle décoration, propreté impeccable, jeux et vaisselle à large disposition, nombreux endroits ombragés qui prêtent a la detente totale. La piscine est très grande et belle, un gros plus ! Tres bon acceuil également, avec une touche personnalisée (vin de noix, jus de pomme et eau fraiche a l’arrivée) !

Der schöne Garten um das Haus mit dem grossen Pool macht dieses Haus zu einem wunderschönen Ferienort. Wir erlebten hier 10 sonnige und sehr heisse Tage. So konnten wir den Pool richtig geniessen. Es lässt sich gut schwimmen und tauchen darin sowie auch hineinspringen (in der Mitte ist er 2,5m tief). Es hat mehrere schattige Sitzplätze mit Tischen ums Haus. Auch Schaukeln für jüngere Kinder sowie ein Trampolin sind da (bei letzterem ist zu beachten, dass der Bereich bei den Federn – zwischen Sprungtuch und Gestell – nicht abgedeckt ist). Das Haus ist ein älterer Holzbau mit dunklen Balken. Es gibt alte, aber auch renovierte Elemente darin. Ein grosses Plus ist das neue und schöne Badezimmer mit einer sehr geräumigen und guten Dusche im Parterre. Da es im Badezimmer unter dem Dach in dieser Zeit sehr warm war, haben wir es kaum benutzt. Im Vergleich zu den Fotos hat es dort aber auch ein neues Lavabo, und das Bidet wurde entfernt. Überhaupt haben wir den oberen Stock mit einem Schlafzimmer, der Galerie, einem WC und einem Badezimmer kaum benutzt, da es dort ganz einfach zu warm war. Es ist bei Bedarf aber ohne Probleme möglich, die zwei Betten von der Galerie ins Wohnzimmer zu tragen, um so der Wärme ein wenig zu entfliehen. Die Küche mit Induktionsherd gehört auch zu den neueren Teilen in diesem Haus. Dort wäre einzig etwas mehr Licht über dem Kochherd zu wünschen. Im Wohnzimmer gleich neben der Küche steht im Gegensatz zu den Fotos jetzt ein grosser Tisch mit sehr viel Platz. Draussen ist auch ein neuer BBQ-Grill. Die Holzläden an den Fenstern, die wir tagsüber geschlossen hielten, haben zwar die Hitze etwas draussen gehalten. Am Abend wären Insektenrollos an den Fenstern aber hilfreich gewesen, um über Nacht richtig durchlüften zu können. Stechmücken gibt es in dieser Gegend zwar kaum, aber dafür viele Fliegen, einige Käfer und abends auch zahlreiche Falter. Das in einem anderen Kommentar erwähnte Hundegebell haben wir überhaupt nicht als störend wahrgenommen. Aber dank des schönen Wetters konnten wir den Garten richtig geniessen. Und der ist es wirklich wert, an diesem Ort Ferien zu machen. Nur auf der einen Seite grenzt er an ein paar Häuser an, aber auf der Poolseite ist man ganz für sich, von purer Natur umgeben. Wir geben diesem Ferienort 5 Sterne, weil uns der Garten und die Umgebung so sehr begeistert hat, dass wir ihnen sogar 6 Sterne geben würden und dies zusammen mit den 4 Sternen für das Haus einen Durchschnitt von 5 ergibt. ;-)

Nicole's property is surrounded by a beautiful garden and the pool is AMAZING! There are lots of nice outdoor chill-out/seating areas which is great, there is a great BBQ and all of the kitchen equipment you need for self-catered accommodation. There are three areas that I think need to be improved and then I would have given the place 5 stars. 1. There are no fans in the property so it was very hard to sleep at night because the house was so hot. 2. Nicole told us when we arrived that we could choose to do the check-out cleaning of the property ourselves or pay 100 Euros for her to clean it. I thought this was not really fair, as that cleaning fee should be stated on the Homeaway website when booking. Also Nicole does not speak English so it was quite difficult and awkward for us to understand what she was trying to say about paying this fee. Therefore, we felt a little uncomfortable being put on the spot like this and it slightly spoilt the end of our stay. 3. There are lots of farm dogs which live nearby and they barked all through the night, so for light sleepers it was a bit difficult to sleep. Apart from these things, I would definitely recommend staying here as it is a very tranquil, relaxing place; with nature all around you. Thank you Nicole.

The house itself was very clean and functional. The garden was lovely, there is something for everyone, you can have a quiet meal under a tree in the shade, lounge around the pool in the sun, for the kids there were swings, trampoline and plenty of toys to go around. As the house is on a hill, you have a beautiful view on the hilly landscape. The spot where the house is situated is very secluded, you cannot walk anywhere. For us this was fine as we were looking for some quiet time. But for those who wish to be in a more populated area, this would not be the right choice. The house was on a hill and only accessible by stairs, so for people with small children or that are physically in a lesser shape it would not be the right choice. Otherwise it is very welcoming for children and we were pleasantly surprised by the closed filled with games to play in the evening or a rainy day. The owner of the house welcomed us upon arrival, we received a very warm reception. The house was very clean, beds were made, she took the time to explain everything and made us feel at home. We have had an absolute lovely time and would definitely recommend this house to everyone with or without children who can appreciate some downtime in a beautiful environment. All shops are within good driving range, so when you want more populated areas they are easy to get to. Thank you Nicole, for this wonderful restful experience, we loved it!
