Excellent location. Really nice quirky house. The bad: communication, cleanliness, and heaters locked too low.Annoying paperwork and communication through rubbish third-party app that the company that owns this place uses across all listing sites rather than communicating directly through VRBO.Mold in downstairs shower on the wall at approx 2m above floor. Heater upstairs was locked to be raised no higher than 20.5C.This place feels like a fairly shoddily managed commercially-run place by a large company rather than a true vrbo (aka vacation-rental-by-owner).

Lovely home in a perfect location for exploring all that Annecy has to offer! Comfortable for a family of 5, clean, well appointed kitchen. Communication was very difficult. Very slow to respond to emails.

The location of this space was gold. A quiet little pocket just a very short stroll from old town and all its charm. I usually prefer a home with a proper space to sit outside with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, but my friend and I took to sitting on the front steps, which will long be remembered as a favorite part of our time. The neighborhood cat befriended us - and ‘protected’ us from additional cats, who tried to encroach on our territory and we even got to chat with our neighbors a bit. P.S. you need to be agile on a ladder for the main bedroom.

This property has been updated with great attention to the interior details. It’s quite lovely. The location in Annecy is perfect. Just enough off the main path to avoid the sounds of the crowds. We had a slight glitch with checking in, the messages we received were from 2 different booking companies, but in the end it was straightened out in short time.Something to note: the apartment is on 4(ish) levels. No problem for us, but guests should be aware of the stairs.Overall, we are very happy with our stay in this lovely home! Many thanks!

Super location in old town of Annecy. Very well decorated, fun layout for kids with lots of stairs. Very clean overall, basement a bit less.

Beautiful apartment - a great mix of old and modern. The layout maximizes efficiency and quality. Everything you could need is provided. The space is more ‘vertical’ - if you have troubles with steep stairs or spiral staircase then it’s not for you… Location is perfect! Right in the old town. Close to anything and everything. Highly recommended!

The owner confirmed that just for the code on the door was required. On entering, the lock / handle fell off and had to call the owner. A contact attended but couldn’t fix it, so I was directed to a keybox which had the back door key. The front door was therefore out of action and I can’t see (with screw missing) how it was deemed acceptable after preparation for us! The lower floor bunk ...

The lower floor bunk had no guard rails and therefore for any child it was a hazard. The pillow for the bunk just had a sheet wrapped around the pillow, which the contact did change. We lifted the mattress onto the floor, so it was safe there. There was also mould in the corner of the bunk lower bed by the pillow and when reporting were told that they hadn’t been informed of it!! I don’t know why the cleaners hadn’t picked up on it when making the bed!! It was right next to my daughter’s head when asleep, so was not good or acceptable. The dishwasher still had dirty cutlery in it that had been left by previous tenants too. Cobwebs were evident everywhere at different levels and not removed. I understand that it is an old building, but we think that this just wasn’t cleaned properly. The master bedroom had carpet that was thread bare by the bed and it was also extremely hot up there. Fans were provided but we resorted to having the windows open all night and risking mosquito entry! There is a ladder up to the master loft area which anyone with mobility issues need to be aware of!.
